Climate Action Plan In-Person Public Engagement Event – East Dorset

Event description: The Vermont Climate Council wants to hear from you! Join us for an in-person, open air event to discuss climate change in Vermont, the impacts you are feeling and the solutions you would like to see in Vermont’s Climate Action Plan. All public engagement events are free and open to anyone. For the events in the state parks, admission will be waved. Food will be provided, as will translations services as needed.

Agriculture Stakeholder Engagement Event

All farmers, farm-related businesses, technical service providers, farmer support groups and organizations, conservation districts and others are encouraged to attend.   

 The members of the Agriculture and Ecosystem Subcommittee of the Vermont Climate Council will share:

o  The strategies for helping Vermont farms and food system to be more resilient and adaptable in the face of climate change impacts;

Rural Communities Stakeholder Engagement Event

Co-sponsored by: VT Climate Council – Rural Resilience and Adaptation Subcommittee, Association of VT Conservation Commissions, VT League of Cities and Towns, VT Association of Planning and Development Agencies, and VT Planners Association

A workshop to engage rural community stakeholder in a discussion of proposed strategies for rural communities to be included in the state’s emerging Climate Action Plan.  The meeting will be held virtually to allow participation from across the state.
