The Vermont Climate Council is updating the state’s Climate Action Plan. Subcommittees of the Council are holding a series of virtual public meetings to get input on their initial ideas for the update. This meeting, convened by the Rural Resilience and Adaptation Subcommittee, is focused on supporting the climate resilience of rural towns, with a focus on hearing from organizations and entities that support municipalities. (Note that two separate sessions in November will be offered for elected town officials, municipal staff, and volunteers.) People, organizations, and businesses who support the climate resilience and adaptation of rural towns are invited to share their perspectives, concerns, stories, and knowledge with the Subcommittee. All are welcome to attend.

Do you have something to say but cannot make it to this meeting? Reach out through any of the methods below and your words will be shared with the Subcommittee at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

Closed captioning will be provided. Please contact Sophi Veltrop with accessibility requests, including language interpretation, at sophi.veltrop@vermont.gov or (802) 522-9555. *Language interpretation requests should be made five days in advance of the meeting.
